That was cool!

Your hard work has paid off man, because this was really enjoyable to watch! I really like where the story is heading, but I'm a little unclear on the plot. But that's okay, its my fault, I should of read through the beginning part more slowly and cautiously. I'll go read it again.

I couldn't suggest any way to make your animation any better because it was really well done. Changing the camera's perspective occasionally was done nicely too! But I think the way you assembled the sprites together into a beautiful environment was one of the most interesting things to look at. I'm just curious how the next episode will turn out now!

Just one thing though. Splitting the episodes was obviously done intentionally, but is there anyway you can put it into one part? Putting scene selection may be a bit more important than you think. And besides, your Flash movie would seem more impressive if you could have scene selection.

Thanks for your review.

Yes, splitting the episode was done intentionally. But, I made the full version first, (With a scene selection and all.) and then split it in order for it to fit on newgrounds.

At the moment, you can only find it on VGLan's forum. Guests should be able to view it, so you shouldn't have a problem.

Hope that helps.

Beautiful!

I am loving almost every moment of your sprite animation here. You got some pretty good skills here. I'll give you the rest of my thoughts on the movie once I finish watching part 2. Fair enough?

Awesome!

This episode is defiantly quite different than all your other ones because the huge amount of fighting scenes in it. Its no wonder why some people were taken by surprise when episode 7 consist mostly of dialog. And when I say people were taken by surprise means that it wasn't necessarily for the better. Though most people liked it anyway. Personally myself I like it when the dialog and fighting scenes are balanced. Not too much on either side. Though I'm sure a lot of reviewers may disagree with me because most would like to see all action as oppose to dialog scenes.

But anyway, I should give my thoughts on Flash movie itself. First off, your animation skills were outstanding! Hardly anybody can match those skills. Its possible. But very hard though. For anyone to get even close to that kind of skill, it would take lots of practice, time dedication, patience, and of course enjoying doing that kind of thing.

The graphics? Well, What is there to say about it except the fact that they are sprites? But I do recognize that you have quite a few custom sprites, that's pretty cool!

Ehhhh......

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't really that good either. I liked the music selection and the parts where you made viewers focus on one character up close or away by blurring the other one. Keep that technique in mind for future projects. In general, the animation wasn't that great considering that they are sprites, but I'm not expecting everyone to professionals so I'll say that it was pretty fair. But I think what really brought this down was the length as oppose what it could of been. I'm not expecting it to be like an hour or something, but you know, at least a decent length. Especially with this kind of effort put into it. But, if you intend on keeping it rather short, then focus on the quality.

Don't get me wrong, I don't hate this. But I didn't really get any fun or entertainment out of it. Sorry if I'm picky.

Thumbs up!

That was some pretty cool animation of Mario there. Forgive me if I sound like I'm complaing, but I did find that the movie could be a tad longer. The reason why I think this is because more viewers will likely be hooked to the episodes. You want them to have a good dive into it. Or maybe they have. I can't say for sure.

And another thing, I won't kill the score for this, but do you think it would be a good idea to have some voice actors? Like Koops, for example? I know he's a rather shy guy, but as I recall, he does talk.

But anyway, good job with the Flash movie! Keep it up! ;)

I'm not sure why, but it was rather difficult for me to rate this. So I'll try rate it fair and softly. Not too soft though!

Okay, in response to comments, I'll give you a hands down that this is your first flash. But here, on Newgrounds, that reason can only go so far as some people grow weary of this "excuse". The first huge improvement you should make in this Flash is to more close-ups of some scenes. Most of the jokes didn't really seem that funny either, they may need to be more unpredictable, surprising, and .........uh......... random, maybe?

If you learned something through the making of this Flash, then way da go! But don't let that get to your head, you still have much more to learn. We should be seeing improvements the next time you submit something.

Nice Man!

Even though I'm not very good at judging these kind of movies, I just wanted to say that I like your graphics and animation displayed here. Great job! In my personal opinion, I would say that the guy in with the brown hat looked the best. Its also interesting how you use mouthsinging to tell the story. Kind of like a musical play at a theater, except this is in cartoon style and free to watch!

Hey...

I thought It was actually kind of funny. Even though this isn't necessarily the best animation and graphics I ever seen, it is acceptable. Its actually well done. Though you could try changing the camera's perspective more. Such as when when Shadow was running across a room. But I still highly respect your Flash as for what you're capable of. I wouldn't want to pressure you much. However, I think we should see some improvements though.
And I agree with RareKirbyStarBall2, I think you're good enough to qualify in the Sonic Shorts Collab. I would like to see in it too. But decision is totally up to you.

Awesome, I can't wait!

I actually had an similar idea of making a Mario and Star Wars crossover too, as I can't seem to find much good ones. However this one may look promising. Your animation skills with sprites seemed pretty good. Though, personally myself, I'm not totally confident in using some of Star Wars sprites, but you can do it however you like it, I'm not stopping you. Your chose of music was okay, but I'm just curious what your selection of sound effects will be. I think you've might of hinted me on it, though.
I hope you become successful in the series!

Woah!

Suddenly learning Physics has just got more interesting. Maybe I should make something like this. Not only is it fun, but its educational!
